In these times of relentless Tory austerity and incompetance, we stand for the basic rights and opportunities that underpin a caring society: building the homes people need, keeping communities safe, funding our schools so that every child is safe and has a fair chance in life, restoring the NHS to its place at the heart of our social contract with each other.

We are a proud internationalist political party, promoting peace and co-operation to address urgent global challenges: climate change, regional conflict, the resurgence of far-right ideology and violence, the retreat towards nationalism.

Tewkesbury Constituency Labour Party membership stands at nearly 4oo people.  We are local people who have made our lives in Gloucestershire; parents and pensioners, workers and students.  We are a group who love this community and want everyone within our constituency to have an equal opportunity in life.   When times are hard, as they are now, we believe in the state supporting communities to ensure no one lives in poverty, or without hope that they will be supported, by their politicians, to achieve a better future for themselves and their families.

We stand against the corruption and cronyism and of the Tory Party, nationally and locally, and their indifference to key issues in our community.  Too often Laurence Robertson and local Tory Councillors vote against the interests of Tewkesbury, or are silent on the key issues we face as a community.

We aim to support everyone who needs Labour, the party of social justice, to fight your corner, to raise the profile of a campaign, and to simply provide a louder voice to help fight for a better and more equal society.
